Labour Party Conference: The NHS – How can we make it last another 70 years?

25 September, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm BST

At this roundtable event Andy Burnham (Mayor of Greater Manchester), Liz Kendall MP and Cllr Paulette Hamilton (Vice-Chair LGA Community Wellbeing Board) will join us to examine how we should think about the health and care system for the next 70 years, how this affects the NHS, and how to evolve social care. What should be the balance of local and national provision? How should we resource it: more money or thinking differently with an emphasis on place, technology and workforce? Crucially, how should central government, including beyond department of health and social care, contribute meaningfully to evolving healthcare policy?

This event will be situated outside the secure zone.
