Skills & Productivity. Overturning The Myth that Going To University Equals Higher Pay

The Centre for Progressive Policy is holding a series of three roundtable events to work with key national and local stakeholders in co-developing our programme of work. These sessions will be conducted under Chatham House Rules and will inform the Centre’s research and annual conference agenda.

This first event will be presenting new data analysis overturning the myth that a university education is the only route to higher earnings. The following participants will be responding to the report findings and all invited discussants will be prompted for their input.

  • Professor Alison Wolf – Sir Roy Griffiths Professor of Public Sector Management at King’s College London, Member of the House of Lords and CPP Policy Council member
  • Roger Taylor – Chair, Ofqual
  • Seamus Nevin – Head of Policy Research, Institute of Directors
